Dr. Lizeth Pinzon
Dr. Pinzon is a Colombian born dentist. She completed her dental degree at EL Bosque University in Bogota, Colombia in 1995 and earned a Public Health Master degree at El Rosario University in Bogota, Colombia in 2001. Dr. Pinzon worked as a General Dentist and Clinical Director in Colombia until 2008 before moving to the United States to pursue her training in a General Practice Residency at Meharry Dental School in Nashville, Tennessee.
Dr. Pinzon strongly believes in comprehensive patient care. She also believes that preventative care and education are the keys to optimal dental health, and she spends time with her patients to help them understand how they can improve their oral health.
Her clinical experience and interaction with patients has inspired a deep commitment to providing individualized care. Her sensitivity toward people has allowed her to treat her patients as human beings. She has seen patients from the perspective of a private practitioner, a community-based health care provider, and a clinical director.
These experiences have enabled her to take a holistic view of the dental profession. Through this experience, she developed a deeper sensitivity for the needs of others. Her greatest satisfaction at the end of the day is the knowledge that she has helped someone else by providing quality and individualized service.
Dr. Pinzon is an active member of American Dental Association (ADA)Virginia Dental Association (VDA), Northern Virginia Dental Society (NVDS) and the international society of dental anxiety management (ISDAM).
